TREATS FOR SENIOR DOGS

If you have a senior dog at home there are some treats that we recommend over others.

1. Senior dogs can often struggle with hard treats if they have had teeth removed so we recommend smaller and softer treats, such as Banappleberry Bites, Turkey and Kale Bikkies, and Grain Free Coconut and Sweet Potato.

2. Treats made from offal such as lamb liver and our chicken twists are naturally higher in fat and aren't recommended for senior dogs that are prone to pancreatitis. Our 100% lean meats are perfect for older pups, such as 100% Chicken Breast, 100% Sardines, 100% Kangaroo Loin, Kangaroo Krunchies and Chicken Chippies. 

3. Elderly dogs can benefit from additional Omega-3's, particularly for joint health when they suffer from arthritis. We highly recommend 100% New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels, 100% Sardines, 100% Kangaroo Loin and Kangaroo Krunchies.
